On-Campus Programs
Consecutive Education
Our on-campus program meets the requirements for OCT certification that allows you to teach either Primary-Junior (K-Grade 6) or Intermediate-Senior (Grades 7-12).
Artist in Community Education
Artist in Community Education (ACE) is designed for practicing artists in visual art, music, drama, dance, film, and creative writing.
Indigenous Teacher Education Program (on-campus)
The Indigenous Teacher Education Program (ITEP) provides an opportunity for teacher candidates to specialize in Indigenous education and qualifies graduates for Ontario College of Teachers certification.
Outdoor and Experiential Education
This program is designed to introduce teacher candidates to the variety of ways in which outdoor and experiential programs can be offered in various school and community settings.
Primary-Junior French as a Second Language (on-campus)
Le programme primaire-moyen - français langue seconde (PJ FSL), a été développé pour les candidats qui souhaitent enseigner les cours d'immersion et français de base dans une salle de classe en Ontario.
Technological Education (on-campus)
Our on-campus TechEd program will prepare you to teach grades 9-12 in one of the many broad-based technological areas that are taught in Ontario.
Multi-Session Program Webinars
Primary-Junior French as a Second Language Multi-Session (FSLM)
This program is geared toward those that currently have a qualifying teaching position or are seeking one (e.g., unqualified teacher, teacher on a letter of permission, school employees).
Indigenous Teacher Education Program (community-based)
A blended program with five community sites offered: Manitoulin-North Shore (Kenjgewin Teg), Lambton-Kent, Mushkegowuk Territory, Tyendinaga, or Pikangikum.
Technological Education Multi-Session Program
Our multi-session tech ed program is designed as a second career pathway for skilled tradespeople seeking to enter the teaching profession and secure employment in Ontario schools.
