Alternative Practicum
Our three-week-long Alternative Practicum provides teacher candidates with an opportunity to explore teaching and learning beyond the traditional school setting, anywhere in the world. Typically completed in March, this practicum is designed to align with a teacher candidate's concentration goals while offering valuable experience in a setting that supports their professional interests. Teacher candidates are encouraged to seek placements outside of a school setting. Alternative practicums have a minimum requirement of 90 hours.
