Centre for Community Engagement and Social Change Year End Report 2024-2025
This year has been an incredibly eventful year for CCESC and one that has established and helped us to refine the goals and areas of focus for our community-engaged work and research moving forward. While each goal has specific next steps, overall, CCESC is pursuing several general goals to advance our mission and vision.
- We are continuing to actively seek out new partnerships and strengthening our existing ones to develop long-term, sustainable, and reciprocal relationships within the community. CCESC is also committed to continuing to focus on advancement and research grant applications to secure funding for operations, administration, research and to continue providing grants for internal and external applicants.
- We are seeking to deepen our engagement with diverse communities—a major focus moving forward will be creating and mobilizing community-initiated grants where existing and potential community partners can propose research and evaluation projects based on their priorities, to be funded and supported in part by the centre in collaboration with Queen’s faculty.
