Faleshia is a proud Queen's University graduate, holding an undergraduate degree in Political Studies and Global Development Studies, as well as a Master of Arts in Political Studies within the NEPC stream of Comparative Politics. Throughout her academic journey, she worked as a Teaching Assistant within the Faculty of Arts and as a Research Assistant at the St. Lawrence College Indigenous Centre, where she focused her Master's research on Indigenous issues, specifically examining how nationalist Indigenous claims impact social and legal status.

Faleshia brings a wealth of practical experience to her role, having taught at both the elementary and secondary levels in French and English. She has a strong background in record management, program operations, and educational administration through her work with an Adult Education Program and the National Arts Centre. At the NAC, she managed donations, communications, and special events aimed at boosting community engagement in the arts.

As Program Administrator, Faleshia is responsible for managing communication, operations, and development across all multi-session programs. She supports the creation and distribution of timetables and central communication documents, facilitates faculty liaison processes, collaborates with OCT on transitional certificates, and assists with budget planning and financial forecasting. Faleshia’s French proficiency, commitment to culturally conscious education, and deep understanding of the Ontario educational system will be key assets in ensuring effective program delivery and supporting student success.
