Financing Your Education Queen’s Student Awards has a website with information about financing your Queen’s Education program. Please contact Student Awards to make an appointment if you need help with your budget. You can meet with an Awards Officer privately for support and guidance about financing your time at Queen’s. Questions about fees or awards? Please contact Student Awards directly. Visit the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) website. The EFTO makes numerous bursaries available to candidates who are entering Ontario’s faculties of education. |

Say YES to Queen’s! If you’re planning to come to Queen’s, be sure to accept your offer of admission through OUAC/TEAS. Log in to OUAC/TEAS, select "Choices/Offers,” accept your offer of admission, and record your confirmation number for your reference. A few days later, SOLUS will show the message, “You have successfully accepted your offer of admission.” Inform us of any changes to your contact information – we do not want you to miss any important communications. If you do not accept your offer and pay the deposit by March 1, you will no longer hold a spot in the program. Deadlines are firm and extension will not be granted. |

Tuition Deposit Find out about fee payment methods and make your tuition deposit ($400 non-refundable) by March 1. Your deposit status can be viewed in the "Finances" section of SOLUS. Please be aware that it can take 3-4 days for your payment to show in SOLUS. If you have questions, please contact the SOLUS office directly. If your plans have changed and you will not be attending the Queen’s Teacher Education program, please update your status through OUAC/TEAS to let us know. |

Activate your NetID Once you have successfully accepted your offer of admission, you will receive an email with information about activating your NetID and your Queen's email account. Log in and make sure everything is set up to your satisfaction. From this point forward, Queen's will only communicate with you via your Queen's email account, so be sure to continue checking it regularly! |

Register for your Practicum Placement Practicum registration information will be emailed to your queensu.ca email address in mid-March and registration will be open for 2 weeks. Placements are arranged through the Practicum Office only, in specific Associate Schools within our partner District School Boards. |

Complete your Ontario Student Assistant Program (OSAP) Application Students must submit a new 2023-24 OSAP application via the OSAP website selecting “Education Summer Session” as their program for the 2024 summer term. |

Submit documentation for academic accommodations If you have a disability (i.e. learning disorder, ADHD, ASD, mental illness, physical disability, etc.) and are able to demonstrate functional limitations that affect your academic functioning, you are eligible to receive accommodations. |
