Thinking Ethics

Presented by: Meera Sidhu 

Meera Sidhu is the Research Ethics Manager at Queen's University, a professional at the forefront of ethical research practices. As a subject matter expert, Meera ensures that all stakeholders are well-informed about the evolving consent processes, ethical guidelines, and the comprehensive policies and procedures that govern research ethics.
 
Meera holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, showcasing her proficiency in managing research projects with precision and efficiency. Complementing her project management skills, she earned a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience from Wayne State University.

Jenny Lee Northey is currently a Graduate Coordinator in the Faculty of Education and was previously a Career Educator and Coach in Career Services, with a focus on international and equity-deserving students. Her session will focus on exploring career options and strategies for graduate students outside of the academic field.

Looking for ways to make collecting and organizing your sources and creating your bibliography less cumbersome and more efficient?  Education Librarians Brenda Reed, Nathalie Soini and Shelley Woods will provide an overview of using EndNote, Zotero and Mendeley to do just that.  Learn about opening an account, adding sources to, and searching content from within the citation manager, inserting citations into Word, and automatically generating a bibliography in the format of your choice.
