Advice for New Students
Start with one course! Being that this course is go at your own pace, it is important to set aside time to do the work. All of the material is so valuable. Try to dedicate enough time that you are really absorbing it and taking notes on how it can apply to your practice. I like to print all the material from the reserves and bring it to my office to reflect on!
How do you fit this program into your life?
I am in one course now, so the day that the Module opens, I review the information and plan what tasks I can achieve in the timeframe that it is scheduled for. Mondays I try to do readings, Wednesdays I work through discussion boards, and Friday-Saturday I work on outstanding assignments. Taking a few hours broken up through the week after work or even on my lunch break helps to keep me thinking about the material often and incorporate it into my practice. I have even gone to the Queen's libraries on weekends even though the course is online!
