Are you interested in bringing your career to the next level? Are you looking for a program that can help you grow as an education professional while you work? Our online, part-time, flexible programs are designed for professionals like you. At Queen’s Faculty of Education, we offer three online graduate programs. Our online graduate programs allow you to focus your graduate learning in a chosen concentration of study, apply that learning to solve problems of practice and effect change in your professional context, and broaden your understanding of educational theories, approaches, and mindsets in relation to diverse professional contexts.
Graduate Diploma in Education (GDE) program
The GDE program provides students with the unique opportunity to focus their graduate learning in a chosen concentration of study and apply that learning to solve problems of practice and effect change in their professional context.
Professional Master of Education (PME) program
The PME program provides students with the unique opportunity to focus their graduate learning in a chosen concentration of study, apply that learning to solve problems of practice and effect change in their professional context, and broaden their understanding of enduring, contemporary, and emerging educational theories, approaches, and mindsets in relation to diverse professional contexts.
Ladder your Credentials
Laddering allows you to progress through successive credentials while carrying forward course credits. Students can receive three different credentials - a Post-Graduate Certificate, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Professional Master of Education. If you follow the laddering system, you can earn all three credentials with three fewer classes overall.
Master of Education in World Indigenous Education
Our progressive MEd program allows you to pursue your research interests without leaving your community, family, or job. The program is offered part-time blended (online and on-campus) for students with experience in Indigenous communities or World Indigenous issues. The first summer of the program is on-campus at Queen's University and the remaining courses are online.
