On-Campus Programs

Master of Education
Working with our outstanding researchers and experts in education, you will develop innovative research, writing, teaching and leadership skills. Our MEd program gives you the flexibility to choose your research focus. We offer a diverse range of courses and connect you with a supervisor who will guide you through your research journey.
Doctor of Philosophy in Education
Become a professional leader in education. Our PhD in Education is designed to develop and support innovative research in education. Our coursework and research emphasize the creation of knowledge leading to enhancements in teaching and learning theory, policy, and practice.
Master of Education in World Indigenous Studies in Education
Our progressive MEd program allows you to pursue your research interests without leaving your community, family or job. The program is offered part-time blended (online and on-campus) for students with experience in Indigenous communities or World Indigenous issues. The first summer of the program is on-campus at Queen's University and the remaining courses are online.
Dual Master of Education Degree
Our Dual Master of Education Degree Program offers a unique international experience to our graduate students with a focus on English language teaching and research. This program is in partnership with the School of Foreign Studies at South China Normal University (SCNU), located in Guangzhou, China.

Our online, part-time, flexible programs are designed for professionals like you. At Queen’s Faculty of Education, we offer three online graduate programs. Our online graduate programs allow you to focus your graduate learning in a chosen concentration of study, apply that learning to solve problems of practice and effect change in your professional context, and broaden your understanding of educational theories, approaches, and mindsets in relation to diverse professional contexts.
Graduate Diploma in Education (GDE) program
The GDE program provides students with the unique opportunity to focus their graduate learning in a chosen concentration of study and apply that learning to solve problems of practice and effect change in their professional context.
Professional Master of Education (PME) program
The PME program provides students with the unique opportunity to focus their graduate learning in a chosen concentration of study, apply that learning to solve problems of practice and effect change in their professional context, and broaden their understanding of enduring, contemporary, and emerging educational theories, approaches, and mindsets in relation to diverse professional contexts.
Specialized Applied Graduate Experience (SAGE)
Queen’s University Faculty of Education has designed the SAGE program as a customizable graduate experience, offering the choice of three different credentials within one program. SAGE is a course-based, fully online program, allowing you to explore diverse topics, expand your resume and experience, and grow as a professional.
