I graduated from Queen’s University in 1997 with a Con-Ed degree and the privilege of serving as President of the ’97–’98 Education year. My time at Queen’s was truly transformative, offering opportunities and leadership experiences that shaped my path forward. After seven years of teaching English at the secondary level with the Limestone District School Board in Kingston, I shifted my focus to raising my three children and pursuing investments in real estate and beyond. When the time was right, I embraced a bold career change and became a financial advisor — discovering that the skills I honed as a teacher were perfectly suited to educating clients about money. Fourteen years later, I’m grateful to work with an incredible community of clients, author two books on finance, and share knowledge even more broadly as the host of a soon-to-air financial television show.
