Graduate Student Knowledge Exchange with Charlie Grosset

All Graduate Students Welcome! 

Charlie (he/him) is a non-disabled PhD student at the University of Sheffield. Growing up as a young carer for his disabled parents, he witnessed and experienced a range of ableist and disableist practices embedded in so-called ‘caring’ systems. These formative experiences, alongside degrees in Sociology and Social Research Methods and professional roles in organisations addressing social inequality, led him to pursue doctoral research.
