Integrating Indigenous Content

Led by Dr. Jennifer Davis and Elder-in-Residence and ATEP Coordinator Deb St. Amant (Bezhig Waabshke Ma’iingan Gewetigaabo) this workshop is geared towards faculty, instructors,  instructional designers, GTFs, and others to provide advice, resources, and ideas for integrating Indigenous content and knowledge in their courses. This will build on the workshop delivered in spring 2018, but can also be attended as a stand alone session. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Universal Design for Learning Lesson Plan Showcase

Poster session of exemplary UDL lesson planning from primary to intermediate subjects with opportunities to discuss UDL components, methods, and resources with those with a shared interest. Students from PROF 210 have been studying UDL and are applying their skills to lesson planning in their teachable area. They will be sharing their work with peers and community members to engage in discussion with those learning about and those already knowledgeable about UDL.
