Our own Clare Marion, MEd student, was recently honoured with the Dorothy Matheson Parnell Bursary. This award was established by Dorothy Matheson Parnell, B.A., 1940, and is awarded in acknowledgement of the challenges associated with working towards a degree while also singlehandedly parenting children. Preference is given to a single mother. Marion is a musician who has also assisted with our Sistema Kingston program in the past.
This award will be presented at the Ban Righ Foundation 2024 Spring Awards Celebration.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 2 - 4 pm in the Elspeth Baugh Fireside Room.
