The Queen’s Imagines the Future Festival

The festival will display artwork from the Faculty of Education community to promote conversations about climate change and the future.
Artworks may include, but are not limited to:
- Poetry
- Short stories
- Visual art
- Music
- Sculptures
- Short films
- Dance
The Queen’s Imagines the Future festival will take place from January to November 2025. Artworks will be displayed across Queen’s University and the broader Kingston community. By showcasing art from our students, faculty and staff, we aim to nurture hope, and envision positive futures that we can work towards as a community.
The Faculty of Education is spearheading this year's festival, with the intention of expanding to the broader Queen's community in coming years.
As Queen's University continues to advance the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and prioritize social impact, this festival will create space for the feelings that arise when we imagine the future in relation to Climate Change.
If you are interested in integrating more climate education into your life, here are some resources that you may find helpful.
