Our own Chris Carlton and Dr. Ian Matheson are celebrating the vermicomposting partnership between Queen's Faculty of Education and Winston Public School with a video! The project was developed to help students better understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and their importance to our plant health. Soil health relates directly to 7 of the 17 UN SDGs and indirectly to all of them. Through this outreach program, the students of Winston have realized how even they can make a difference in helping to achieve these goals and create a healthier planet.
