In this course, you will explore the role of the teacher librarian as a leader, collaborator, and advocate in the school community. You will examine how the library learning commons (LLC) functions as a dynamic learning environment shaped by relationships, resources, policy, and professional judgment. Across the modules, you will engage with research, Ministry documents, and professional frameworks to think critically about equity, access, digital responsibility, curriculum support, and collection management. You will be encouraged to reflect on your own school context, question assumptions, and connect ideas from the course to your daily practice. The course culminates in the creation of a focused improvement plan that brings together your learning and supports your ongoing growth as a responsive and reflective teacher librarian.
