Learn more about CONT635

The social sciences seek to answer some of the most fundamental human questions: why do we behave the way we do, individually and collectively? How do societal structures shape our lives? What forces drive social change? Few academic disciplines are as crucial as the social sciences in helping us analyze the past, navigate the present and shape the future. If learning about these subjects is essential, teaching them effectively is equally vital. This course will provide the pedagogical strategies, assessment tools and inclusive practices needed to engage Ontario Senior Social Sciences learners in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking and problem solving while fostering their ability to navigate a diverse, complex and interconnected world.
