This course will examine intercultural knowledge, skills and attitudes and prepare teachers to promote the values of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI). Engaging in self-reflection, cultural exploration, and ongoing discussions will boost your knowledge of Canadian cultural diversity. Throughout the course, you'll develop effective intercultural teaching, learning and assessment methods and greater sensitivity toward those whose knowledge is being represented. You will apply the appropriate terminology to deliver equitable and inclusive teaching approaches and enhance communication through active listening and reflective practice.
