What I have been doing since Graduating from Queen’s University Faculty of Education in 1969.

Until 2001 I taught History in Kingston at Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic High School and Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School . Along the way I was a Department Head and Athletic Director and coached basketball. Outside my schools I was involved with area Department Head councils, served on County Athletic Executives and also found time to engage in OECTA activities at both the Unit and Provincial levels. Upon ‘retirement’ in 2001, I continued to teach as an Occasional teacher. I left teaching completely in 2007 and became a Heart & Stroke Jump Rope for Heart coordinator for all schools in Frontenac, Lennox& Addington Counties. I retired from Heart & Stroke in 2014 but remained heavily involved in the Kingston Church Athletic League as scheduler and Executive member, having started with the CAL in 2001 and continued until 2020.

I am still actively taking part in education of a sorts by my participation in District and National positions of responsibility with Retired Teachers of Ontario (RTOERO -soon to be Entente Education Canada).
