I recently retired from a 30-year career in education, during which I spent 15 years as an elementary school teacher with assignments across the former Lennox and Addington School Board, the Limestone District School Board, and the American School Foundation of Monterrey. As a Vice Principal and Principal with the Limestone District School Board, I had the privilege of working in six different schools, four of which were dual track English and French Immersion sites. Throughout my career, I was especially drawn to building inclusive school communities and supporting professional learning for both new and experienced educators.

I am a proud graduate of the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University, where I completed both my Bachelor of Education and Master of Education. Fluent in French, I have always been passionate about providing all students with access to high-calibre French-language instruction. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, practicing yoga and getting lost in a good book. I am excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to this new role, and I look forward to supporting teacher candidates as they begin their own journeys in education.
