Ethics Presentation for Graduate Students

All Graduate Students Welcome!

John Freeman, Chair of GREB (General Research Ethics Board) will be giving a presentation on the Ethics process on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:30 am in the Vernon Ready Room.

The main focus will be completing the application form and using the new checklist for Letters of Information/Consent Forms. Other topics include:

Building Bridges: An International Seminar on Arts Education and Sustainable Development

How does arts education fit into global plans for education, culture and sustainable development?  On Wednesday, March 8 the UNESCO Chair in Arts and Learning and Canadian Network for Arts and Learning will host Dr. Ernst Wagner, lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and executive coordinator of the The UNESCO Chair in Arts and Culture in Education at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, for a seminar discussion. Dr. Wagner has been a key leader in international research in arts education and is one of the architects of the newly approved UNESCO UNITWIN Network in Arts Education for Sustainable Development.

Dr. Wagner’s brief presentation will be followed by complimentary refreshments and conversation.

This is a difficult time for many of us, especially the members of the Muslim community. Voice Artist in Residence Shane Carty

Shane Carty is the Studio Artist in Residence from January 16 - 27, 2017.

Shane has spent eleven seasons at the Stratford Festival, with roles including Max in The Sound of Music, Lank Hawkins in Crazy For You, Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, Antonio in The Duchess of Malfi, The King of Navarre in Love's Labour's Lost, Ivan Karamazov in The Brothers Karamazov, as well as many others.
