Biography 

Christopher McCuaig holds an Honours BA (Major in History, Minor in Geography) and a B.Ed. (Intermediate-Senior) degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, as well as an M.Litt. degree in Irish and Scottish Studies from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Christopher has 13 years of teaching experience at the secondary level with the York Region District School Board and is now in the second year of the M.Ed. program at the Faculty of Education, Queen’s University. Christopher’s specific interests relate to the field of Curriculum Studies, especially those related to teaching the subject of History. He is currently exploring how Ontario's Grade 10 History curriculum has changed over the past 30 years, with an overall aim of better understanding how it can have greater meaning for all students in the future.
