Spaces and Accessibility

THEY 2019 will take place in 3 physical spaces.

Panels, meals and working sessions will take place in two rooms:

  • Robert Sutherland Hall (June 11+12)
  • Mackintosh-Corry Hall D201 (June 13)

Keynote talks will take place in Speaker’s Corner in Stauffer Library

All three buildings are wheelchair accessible, though access to the room in Mackintosh-Corry Hall requires the use of an elevator.

All three buildings will have all-gender washrooms available during the conference.

More information on accessibility at Queen’s can be found via the university’s Accessibility Hub.

We are committed to making this conference as accessible as possible for all participants. If you have any specific accessibility needs or concerns that we should be aware of, please let us know at theyconference2018@gmail.com.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer captioning or ASL interpreatation for talks at THEY 2019.

Queen’s does not officially have a scent-free policy, but we encourage all THEY 2019 attendees to help make our space more accessible by avoiding the use of scented products to the extent possible. In particular, we ask that you do not wear perfume or similar products while attending the conference.
