Margaret Craig Education Award

This award will be presented annually by the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Nu Chapter, on the basis of merit and need, to a female student who:

  • is enrolled for full-time attendance in the final year* of an approved education program leading to a degree, or diploma (*final-year Concurrent or Consecutive Education teacher candidates);
  • demonstrates outstanding ability as a potential educator.

Consecutive Education Webinars

Join us online for a webinar on the Queen’s Teacher Education (Consecutive) program for 2019-20, hosted by Student Services Office, Faculty of Education. A perfect opportunity to hear more about our four successive term program, which starts in May 2019 and ends in August 2020.

Queen's Conference on Education Registration

Since its inception in 2002, Queen's Conference on Education (QCE) has since evolved into one of the largest student-run annual conferences at Queen's University. The conference is tailored towards anyone who is interested in expanding, enriching, and evolving their educational viewpoints.

Registration for QCE2019 closes on November 19th and the full cost is $90.

Intercultural Awareness

Participants will be introduced to basic concepts of intercultural learning, with an emphasis on gaining knowledge of one’s own cultural self and how we respond to difference as a means to understanding and appreciating the culture of others.

Fall Convocation and Reception 2018

Please plan to attend our fall convocation Thursday, November 15th, 2:30 pm in Grant Hall. This is our largest convocation of the year and many students will be looking to see you there marking this milestone event in their lives. Your presence acknowledges the importance of the event and the priority we give to our students.
