Sharing Our Diverse Scholarly Contributions: A Faculty Celebration

Thursday, February 28, 4-5:30 pm

Education Library, Duncan McArthur Hall

This event honours the diversity of scholarly work undertaken by our Faculty. Inspired by talking circles, faculty members will be invited to share their significant publications, outreach activities, creative works, grants, and ground-breaking research with our community. As a contribution to the Rosa Bruno Jofré Symposium in Education (RBJSE), this event will invite exchange between faculty members, graduate students, and the broader education community while recognizing the multiple ways our work intersects and influences one another.

4:00-4:05 – Welcome: Dr. Chris DeLuca

4:05-4:10 – An Approach to Sharing: Deb St. Amant (Bezhig Waabshke Ma’iingan Gewetigaabo)

4:40-5:10 – Sharing Session 2*

5:10-5:30 – Refreshments and networking

*At each 30-minute session attendees will join a table to learn about and discuss designated faculty members' works and share their own research and ideas in a talking circle setting.
