International Teacher Experience Record
Qualified applicants interested in this program must first apply to the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) for an assessment of their education and teaching background. Information is located at www.oct.ca. Click on language (English or French), and then scroll down the left hand side, and click on Internationally Trained Teachers.
After the OCT makes an assessment that the applicant requires teacher (re)training in a Bachelor of Education program at an Ontario Faculty of Education, only then will the applicant apply, through the OUAC/TEAS website, to Queen's Faculty of Education. The candidate must also send all the required documents to the Registrar or make arrangements with the Ontario College of Teachers to send copies of their documents and the assessment made from the Ontario College of Teachers to the Education Registrar of the Faculty of Education. Applicants must also complete and submit the International Teaching Experience Record form.
