The Queen's Concurrent Education program is offered to students who are pursuing a career in teaching who have recently or are about to complete secondary school. Applicants apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). Application to the Queen's Concurrent Education program is made at the same time as application to Bachelor of Arts or Science, Bachelor of Music, or Bachelor of Computing programs at Queen's University.
The application process is coordinated by Queen’s University Undergraduate Admission office.
1 December
Last day to submit Major Entrance Awards applications. Please ensure you complete your application to Queen’s as early as possible so that we may consider you for a Major Entrance Award.
1 February
Applications for, and amendments to (additions or changes), all first year programs are due at OUAC for applicants attending school in Canada or the United States.
15 February
Applications for, and amendments to (additions or changes), all first year programs are due at OUAC for applicants attending school outside Canada or the United States.
1 March
30 April
Last day to submit required documents for students not attending high school in Ontario.
Selection is based mainly on applicants' academic standing. Some consideration may be given, however, to the Personal Statement of Experience (PSE). Prerequisite courses are the same as those for entrance into either the Bachelor of Arts or Science, the Bachelor of Music, or Bachelor of Computing programs at Queen's University.
