If you would like to grant access to anyone, please go under the Personal Information area, look for the drop-down menu that says “other personal...” and find “Release of Information”. Read it carefully and fill in the appropriate areas.

If you notice any errors, please contact the Concurrent Education Assistant (concurrent.education@queensu.ca).

Choose Classes

You can access your Shopping Cart now, which means you can choose the courses you want ahead of time, and arrange your schedule before you actually enroll. Please check the Arts and Science website for help choosing your courses.

View Your Enrollment Appointment

Check your SOLUS home page for your Enrollment Appointment time. This is the timeslot you’ve been given to choose your second year Arts & Science courses, sometime between July 9 and 24.

View Second Year Education Courses

You do not need to register for your Queen’s Education courses, you have been pre-enrolled in them by the Education Registrar’s Office.  To check your pre-loaded times, log into SOLUS.  On the first page of your Student Center you should see your Fall 2012 Queen’s schedule.  If you are taking a Summer course you will need to change the term to view Fall.

Primary-Junior
You have been pre-enrolled in PRAC 210AB and PROF 210AB.  There is no timetable slot for PRAC 210AB.  Please note that PROF 210AB is now scheduled in the fall and winter.  There is only one section of PROF 210AB (Section 100).  The other section you see on SOLUS (200) is at Trent.

Intermediate-Senior
You have been pre-enrolled in PRAC 211AB and PROF 211AB.  There is no timetable slot for PRAC 211AB.

Please note that PROF 211AB is now both fall and winter.  There are two sections at Queen’s (Sections 100 and 101).
You will have the opportunity to switch sections if necessary to avoid conflicts with mandatory courses when your Enrollment Appointment opens in July.

If you are only taking either the PRAC or the PROF course or need to defer one or both because of an exchange, please send an email from your Queen’s email account to concurrent.education@queensu.ca asking for a modification.  Many modifications to the normal course stream have already been entered.

July and August

Course Selection

During your Enrollment Appointment for Arts and Science, create a schedule so that your Arts and Science undergrad courses do not conflict with your pre-enrolled PROF 210AB or PROF 211AB class.

NOTE: You cannot use the SWAP feature for your classes with an AB suffix like PROF 211AB; you must drop the class, then add the class with the section you want. Make sure to search for space in the section you want before you drop the class!  You must add both A (fall term) and B (winter term) in the same section/timeslot.

After you select your courses, your tuition will be calculated and will be displayed in the Finances section of your Student Center.
