Assessment and Evaluation
My research interests include the assessment of non-cognitive skills and also large scale assessments. In particular, I am curious to know how schools determine whether or not they are meeting their non-cognitive goals. For example, if a school claims to develop open-mindedness, how do they assess this? What evidence can be used to back up this claim?
I am currently a teaching assistant for Educators Abroad and Assessment for the B.Ed. program.
I am currently involved with the Centre for Teaching and Learning on an Ontario-wide project on faculty evaluation, and also on another research project that aims to improve mathematics achievement in Ontario.
