Research Interests
Broadly, I am interested in international schools: their contexts and communities. My past research examined Malaysian parents' motivations for choosing an international education for their children. My doctoral work looks at Canadian teachers’ notions of home prior to teaching internationally, while they are teaching abroad, and once they return to Canada.

Involved in two SSHRC-funded research projects: 1) With the Cooperative Education and Workplace Learning (CEWL) group focusing on at-risk students who have had successful co-op placements, and 2) with Rebecca Luce-Kapler’s project on senior women writing memoir.
