Events
The EGSS organizes a number of academic and social events throughout the year, and it organizes an end-of-year social for students, faculty and staff every year in April.
Rosa Bruno-Jofré Symposium in Education
The Rosa Bruno-Jofre Symposium in Education (RBJSE) is an interdisciplinary symposium that provides graduate students with a supportive and affordable opportunity to present and discuss their research or work-in-progress with colleagues, faculty, and practitioners from the field. RBJSE highlights current research being undertaken by graduate students at Queen’s University in paper presentations, roundtable discussions, and poster presentations. The event occurs in the spring of each year. This year, the event was held on March 22, 2013.
ScholarShare
The Education Graduate Student Society invites graduate students and faculty to attend our ScholarShare series which provides an opportunity for current graduate students in Education to share their work with their colleagues in a supportive environment, while attendees can learn more about some of the research that is happening in the Faculty of Education. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you are a graduate student (MEd or PhD) in Education and are interested in presenting your scholarly work at a future ScholarShare session, please e-mail the EGSS Academic Events Coordinator, CJ Dalton at cj.dalton@queensu.ca.
