e-Services offers a number of services and tools for faculty and staff:
- all hardware and software purchases (e.g. printers, speakers, scanners, cameras, microphones, headsets, blackbox equipment)

new Microsoft Exchange accounts (email and calendar) and mailing lists (listservs)

inclusion in the Faculty of Education and Queen's directories

the Faculty of Education Portal (learning management software), Desire2Learn

servers, web space
, databases and web publishing software, including the EDUCWWW Publication (the Queen's Content Management System)
- desk-side support for office computers and computer labs (note: requests for support from research assistants and teaching assistants must go through faculty)
- computer operations activities, including upgrade/replacement roll-outs and moves, computer lab (mini-lab) set-up and maintenance, and hardware repair/replacement and inventory (computer images and licencing)

Policies for acceptable use of computer and information systems provided and owned by the Faculty of Education:
Faculty of Education resources should be used primarily for university-related research,instruction, education, and distribution of scholarlyinformation and admin istrative activities.
- faculty, staff and students may not modify the Faculty of Education network infrastructure, electronic resources, software and/or hardware protective systems
- all computers, peripherals and electronic devices purchased on a Faculty budget code must be inventoried by e-Services, including equipment purchased through a research grant.
- faculty, staff and students taking equipment off campus must fill out the Off-campus equipment & Declaration Form (47 KB PDF)
