Faculty Photo Contest Deadline Oct 15

Criteria

Entries will be judged on their portrayal of Life at the Faculty of Education and on photographic quality. Life at the Faculty of Education is a broad theme that includes people, teaching and learning, research, collaboration, outreach, etc. at the Faculty, on placements, and in the community. View the winning photos from May 2013.

Consent

Please ensure that everyone that can be recognized in your photographs has signed our Consent Form to grant us the right to use it (most teacher candidates and graduate students have already given us consent to use their photos, so please just include their names in your email). If the people in your photographs are under 18 years old, please ensure that their legal guardian has signed our Parental Consent Form.

Title and Description

Please include a title and description for your photograph in your email.

Number, Format & Size

Please submit a maximum of 5 images per participant, JPEG only, from 1800 to 4000 pixels (files must not exceed 3MB).

Please submit your photographs and consent forms to facultyofeducationphotos@gmail.com.

Judges

Entries will be judged by a panel composed of Dean Stephen Elliott and Professor Angela Solar from the Faculty of Education as well as Greg Black, Queen’s University Manager - Visual Design and Photography.

Raffle

Everyone who submits to one of our contests will also be entered in a raffle and have a second chance to win $100.
