Queen's-Trent Concurrent Education Program Extended for 5-year Term

The Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts and Science at Trent University are pleased to announce that they have renewed their partnership agreement to operate the Queen's-Trent Concurrrent Education program for another 5-year term.

The program enables students to complete their Bachelor’s degree at Trent while concurrently working toward their Bachelor of Education degree from Queen’s. Participating students complete Queen’s education courses and placement experiences in Ontario schools while completing their Trent degree, and then complete their fifth year of the program at Queen’s in Kingston.

Dr. Stephen Elliott, Dean of the Queen’s Faculty of Education said that Queen's is "delighted to be continuing our longstanding partnership in Concurrent Teacher Education with Trent.”

Founded in 1973, the Queen’s-Trent Concurrent Teacher Education program is one of the oldest inter-university concurrent education partnerships in the province.
