The Language and Literacy Research Lab
The Language and Literacy Research Lab (LLRLab), supervised by Dr. Lesly Wade-Woolley, conducts research in reading development and reading difficulties.
It is a busy lab with a number of active students from the faculties of Education, Psychology, and Linguistics.
The lab is currently involved in a number of projects. Some of these involve investigations into: linguistic stress and reading; early intervention for struggling readers; reading development in second language learners; and systematic reviews.
The Lab receives most of it’s funding from the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council.
