Suparna Roy Awarded Rose A. Freeman Memorial Award 

Pamela McDonaldPh.D candidate Suparna Roy has been awarded the Rose A. Freeman Memorial Award, which was established in September 2006 by Dr. John Freeman in memory of his mother.

The Freeman Award is given to a graduate student teaching assistant in the Faculty of Education who directly contributes to the learning experience of Bachelor of Education (Con.Ed., B.Ed., Dip.Ed.) students through exhibiting outstanding commitment to the value of learning, availability to students, good organizational skills, and motivation.

The Graduate Studies and Research Committee nominated Suparna as a recipient of the Award in recognition of her work as a Teaching Assistant for a B.Ed./Dip.Ed. course in the 2015/2016 academic year.
