Painting with Wool Explore the exciting and intriguing possibilities of feltmaking. Using ancient feltmaking techniques, participants will create a small felted landscape using wool fibres, soap, and water. Materials are included in registration fee. |

Visual Arts Meets Personal Narrative with visual artist and educator Aïda Sulcs Wednesday, February 6th, 6 pm-8 pm $20 Registration fee Through writing and reflection, participants will be guided to transpose written narrative into visual doodles, negative shapes, and composition to create a visual representation of their personal narrative. Creating Story Ideas When Your Muse Won’t Cooperate with freelance writer Glen C. Strathy Tuesday, April 2nd, 6 pm-8 pm $20 Registration fee So you want to write fiction, but have a hard time coming up with ideas? No problem! This workshop will enable participants to develop easy methods for generating an unlimited supply of original ideas that can be used as the basis of a short story, novel, play, screenplay, or comic book.
