Painting with Wool
with feltmaker Andrea Graham  
Saturday, February 2nd, 10 am-12 noon
$20 Registration fee

Explore the exciting and intriguing possibilities of feltmaking. Using ancient feltmaking techniques, participants will create a small felted landscape using wool fibres, soap, and water. Materials are included in registration fee.

with visual artist and educator Aïda Sulcs
Wednesday, February 6th, 6 pm-8 pm
$20 Registration fee
Through writing and reflection, participants will be guided to transpose written narrative into visual doodles, negative shapes, and composition to create a visual representation of their personal narrative. This workshop uses art as a means to promote self-awareness. Materials are included in registration fee.

So you want to write fiction, but have a hard time coming up with ideas? No problem! This workshop will enable participants to develop easy methods for generating an unlimited supply of original ideas that can be used as the basis of a short story, novel, play, screenplay, or comic book. Teachers can also use these methods effectively in their classrooms to help students invent stories. Materials are included in registration fee.
