The Mathematics, Science and Technology Education Group (MSTE) is a research and development team at the Faculty of Education that is dedicated to improving teaching and learning in the mathematics, science and technology fields in schools and in teacher education.

The MSTE-QSLMA Mathematics Conference Spring to Math will take place at Duncan McArthur Hall on February 2, 2013.

The keynote speakers, Dr. Cathy Bruce (Trent University) and Dr. Ruth Beatty (Lakehead University), will explore the development of algebraic thinking through linear growing patterns.

Register on-line on the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME) website www.oame.on.ca.  Registration is $20 for OAME members and teacher candidates, and $30 for non-OAME members.
