Wireless Connections
Wireless access points throughout the Faculty of Education building.
ITServices strongly recommends that you use the secure wireless network when accessing wireless Internet service on campus.
- The "QueensuSecure_WPA2" secure wireless network is WPA2 encrypted – recommended. To connect to the new secure wireless network QueensuSecure_WPA2, you will need to set up your computer’s network software.

- “Queensu” unsecure wireless connection - NetID and password required. This network is provided for computers that are unable to use WPA2 security.
- “Eduroam” unsecure connection campus wide. All faculty, staff, and students visiting from other educational institutes that are participating in the eduroam network can connect to this wireless network at Queen's.

Wired Connections
The Queen’s University campus is equipped with a high speed wired data network. It is available in virtually all offices and labs, many classroom podiums, a few classrooms at every seat, and computing sites.
- All members of the Queen's community.
- A valid NetID and password is required to gain access in most public spaces.
