NetID Manager for Students

Your NetID is your network identity at Queen's. It will be the "User ID" you need to sign in to the Queen's University applications and services including network access, email & calendar, My Queens U and D2L (Faculty of Education Learning Management System).

The first step in using your NetID is to go through the activation process. To do so, visit the NetID Activation page.

NetID Password Change

You can change your NetID password through the web. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. In a browser, navigate to https://netid.queensu.ca/manage (the NetID Profile Manager screen will open.).
  2. Enter your NetID and current password (a welcome screen will be displayed).
  3. Follow the screen prompts.
  4. Anytime you change your NetID password, you must go back to each application in which you allowed your password to be "stored" and update the password that is being stored to your new NetID password.

Forgotten Password

Your NetID password is your key to many services available at Queen's. If you have forgotten your NetID password, no one can tell you what it is. However, you can reset your password.

Use the Self Service Password Reset Tool

All members of the Queen's community (students, faculty, staff) who have an active NetID have the option of creating Challenge Questions so if they forget their password they can re-set it themselves. If an Alternate Email Address is provided, all password change notifications will be sent to that email address (as well as the Queen's email address) so the change information will be received, even if the Queen's email can't be accessed.

For step-by-step instructions, see the tutorial on Challenge Questions and Alternate Email Address.

If you have already created your Challenge Questions, you can use the Self Service Password Reset Tool to re-set your password.
