Core Services

e-Learning Services offers a number of services for faculty and staff which are listed here and explained in further detail in the Core Services table.

e-Learning Services provides desk-side support for faculty (note: requests for support for research assistants and teaching assistants must go through faculty) and staff office computers and computer labs, including creation of software images and licencing of standard software applications. Computer operations activities include: upgrade/replacement rollouts and moves; computer lab (mini-labs) set-up and maintenance; and hardware repair/replacement and inventory

  • Hardware- Purchasing, Facilitated Break/Fix Depot
    • Personal Productivity: - Desktop Workstation, Laptop, Personal Management Devices, and Peripherals (e.g. printers, speakers, scanners, cameras, microphones, headsets, blackbox equipment)
  • Servers: Databases, Knowledge Forum, Web space
