Directions from Highway 401

Take Exit 615, Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd.  Follow Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd. for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Union St. Merge right onto Union St. and Duncan McArthur Hall will be immediately on your right.

Parking, Shuttle Service & Kingston Transit

The paved parking lots immediately behind McArthur Hall require a parking permit, which must be purchased from the Campus Parking (located in the Rideau building on Stuart Street). The gravel lots near Richardson Stadium have "pay and display" as well as less expensive permit parking. West campus permits are not valid on main campus and vice-versa. 

There is "pay and display" parking lot in front of McArthur Hall.  City of Kingston parking tickets are issued for parking violations. Once you receive a ticket, the Faculty has no means of waiving it and cannot pay the fine for you. Parking permits are not required after 5:00 p.m. or on weekends.

Teacher Candidate Parking Permits are an exclusive offer for teacher candidates for the paved lots behind McArthur Hall for parking only during scheduled classes (no payment is taken for teaching placement weeks).

Queen's Shuttle Service runs regularly to/from Richardson Stadium to/from various locations on main campus.

Kingston Transit is free of charge for Queen's University students (stickers are available from the SGPS in the John Deutsch University Centre). There is a bus stop in front of Duncan McArthur Hall.
