On Campus Recruiting

In addition to the Options Career Fair and the Teachers’ Overseas Recruiting Fair held in January, from time to time schools or other organizations hoping to hire Queen’s Education graduates come on campus to recruit and interview our Teacher Candidates.

Organizations Hoping to Come on Campus to Recruit

Our primary on-campus recruiting event is Options 2014, which takes place on January 15, 2014. For more information, please see Options Career Fair.

If January 15th is a problematic date, we can discuss other dates for presentations and recruiting on campus.

Please note that our Teacher Candidates are on campus during the following periods:

  • January 2- February 7, 2014
  • April 7 - 30, 2014

If you would like to conduct interviews in Kingston, we can recommend the following locations:

  1. Faculty of Education, Queen’s University
    • Limited space available for interviews, but on certain days, we maybe be able to accommodate interview teams in the building.
  2. Donald Gordon Centre, Queen’s University
    • University conference centre, ½ a block from the Faculty of Education with a variety of meeting rooms available, at a charge.
