This collection will be published by Falmer Press (London) in July 1997.
A unique feature is that more than 80% of the material is written by teacher candidates and beginning teachers who offer advice and encouragement to other new teachers during their earliest teaching experiences.
The collection emphasizes sharing and learning from experiences of teaching.
Derek Featherstone teaches science and computer studies at Ashbury College in Ottawa, Ontario.
Hugh Munby and Tom Russell are Professors in the Faculty of Education, Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario.
