  • Program evaluation - evaluation practice, capacity and capacity building in art museums and non-profit arts education organizations
  • Art education - pre-service and in-service teacher education, classroom assessment in the arts
  • Arts Integration - benefits of arts integration/artist in school programs, artist-teacher professional development
  • Art museum education - interpretive and participatory programming 

Biography

I hold an MA in Art Education from Concordia University, a B.Ed. from the University of British Columbia, and a BFA from NSCAD University. Prior to beginning my doctorate, I was the Co-Executive Director, Programming, at ArtsSmarts. I have also worked as a Program Director at Studio in a School in New York City and as the Director of Public Programs and Education at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery.
