I have been a language teacher and language teacher educator for more than 20 years, during which time I have taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses at the pre-service, professional development and graduate levels at a number of universities in Canada, Hong Kong, and China. My research interests focus on the impact of large-scale language testing on instruction, and the relationship between classroom assessment and instruction in language classrooms.
